The most expensive bikini in the world is being auctioned off!
Ursula Andress white belt bikini from James Bond “007 Chases Dr. No” goes under the hammer in Los Angeles. On November 12, several hundred props from Hollywood blockbusters will be auctioned off online in Los Angeles. The sensation is that the legendary bikini by Ursula Andress from James Bond “007 hunts Dr. No” also changes hands. The bikini achieved cult status when Ursula Andress emerged from the sea as Honey Rider in 1962 and is one of the most famous film scenes of all time. The episode promoted the worldwide triumph of the bikini, which had divided people's minds and caused an uproar like hardly any other piece of clothing. The bikini was already sold at an auction by the British auction house Christie's in 2001 for the equivalent of 45,000 euros. This time, the bikini is to be auctioned off many times over.
The BikiniARTmuseum will also participate in the auction of the “Profiles in History” auctioneers in Los Angeles for several swimwear exhibits.
